Estonian parliamentary delegation visits the Archive
On October 31st 2025, the Estonian Archives in Australia had a visit from an Estonian parliamentary delegation comprising Marko Mihkelson, Henn Põlluaas and Juku-Kalle Raid and the Ambassador, Jaan Reinhold.

They viewed the current exhibition in the foyer of Estonian House which celebrates 75 years of the Adelaide Estonian Society and the previous one „Now and Then“ which showed the changes in the surrounding area of Surry Hills.
Many interesting artefacts and documents were on show in the archive including personal papers, the records of the organisations and the Displaced Persons records. Of great interest was the map of post-War Germany showing all the DP camps that housed Estonians, the photo album recording the escape to Sweden in the autumn of 1944, the controversial program for the Red Army concert tour to Canberra and the letter confirming that the Estonian flag was taken to the moon by the Apollo 16 expedition.
